The BOD test is critical in determining the contamination level of sewage and waste water, in particular the content of disposable
organic matter. The test can help measure the amount of oxygen to be consumed by bacteria in proportion to the quantity of

The TOC test is a method to measure the quantity of the carbon emitted from the process of the oxidization of the organic matter
in water, which can help analyze the total quantity of the organic matter or the level of the contamination of the specimen by the
organic matter.(Measuring time: About 10 minutes)

When it comes to the TOC analysis, as the time required for the oxidization to be completed is short, the analysis can take place
repetitively. This analysis provides the highest accuracy as it can calculate the quantity of the organic matter, which may not be
oxidized by the oxidant or cannot be measured because of the insolubility of the organic matter or the oxidant itself.
