BOD (Biochemical oxygen demand)

COD (Chemical oxygen demand)
This indicates the amount of the oxygen, necessary for chemically oxidizing the oxidizable substances existing in water, in mg/L (Measuring time: About 2 hours) |

TOC (Total organic carbon)
The TOC test is a method to measure the quantity of the carbon emitted from the process of the oxidization of the organic matter in water, which can help analyze the total quantity of the organic matter or the level of the contamination of the specimen by the organic matter.(Measuring time: About 10 minutes)

When it comes to the TOC analysis, as the time required for the oxidization to be completed is short, the analysis can take place repetitively. This analysis provides the highest accuracy as it can calculate the quantity of the organic matter, which may not be oxidized by the oxidant or cannot be measured because of the insolubility of the organic matter or the oxidant itself. |
